Transferring .mx Domains Away from Wix

If you purchased a .mx domain from Wix, you can later transfer it to another domain host. 

To transfer your .mx Wix domain away from Wix:

  1. Go to Domains in your Wix account.
  2. Click the Domain Actions icon  next to the relevant domain.
  3. Select Transfer Away from Wix.
  4. Click Transfer Domain after reviewing the information. 
  5. Click I Still Want to Transfer. 
Note:
In some cases, you may receive a message from the domain provider during the transfer process indicating that your .mx domain is blocked. This happens because sometimes Wix domains with a .mx extension need to be unlocked so they can be transferred outside of Wix. 

If your .mx domain is blocked: Please contact Wix Customer Care so we can help unlock the domain. Please have your account and domain name ready.
