To Switch to the New Wix Blog:

  1. Navigate to the new Wix Blog page and click to select it.
  2.  In the Import tab, click Copy Posts.

  3. Wait until your posts have finished being copied and click Continue.
  4. Check out your new blog and edit the design to get it just the way you like (or edit it later). If you are happy with the new blog, proceed to the next step.
  5. Select the new blog in the Editor and click Settings.
  6. Click Update URLs.

  7. Click Got It.
Note: The new blog won't be visible and posts won't redirect until you publish your site.
  8. Delete the old blog:
    1. Click Menus & Pages on the left side of the Editor.
    2. Select the old blog page (the old blog has an icon with a "B" ).
Note: Make sure not to delete the new blog (has a pen icon ).
    3. Click the Show More icon .
    4. Click Delete .
  9. When you're ready, publish your changes.
Notes:
  • After publishing, visitors accessing old blog post URLs are redirected to the same post in the new blog.
  • If your old blog had elements (e.g. Custom Feed element) on other site pages, they will be removed when the old blog is deleted, leaving blank spaces. Make sure to either add new blog elements, where available, or edit the page to close the empty spaces.
  • Make sure to update your blog feed's SEO information Learn More
