With a Google Workspace subscription, you get access to a full suite of Google Workspace tools. You also have the option to purchase additional services for Google Workspace.
You can view and purchase plans from the  Business Email and Add-ons page in your site's dashboard. You can set up your Google Workspace subscriptions by signing in to your Google Admin console.
Add-ons (like a business phone number with Google voice) are additional services connected to your business email account. When you purchase an add-on subscription, you can assign the add-on license to a business email user.

Setting up a business email user

After purchasing your business email subscription, you'll need to set up a user account. Setting up a business email user will allow you to send and receive business emails, and use Google Workspace services and tools.

To set up a business email user:

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.
  2. From the Admin console menu, go to Directory, then Users.
  3. At the top of the page, click Invite new user/Add new user.
  4. Fill out the form to invite a new user to your team, or add their account details.
  5. Repeat steps 1-4 for any additional users you want to add.

Assigning add-on licenses

To start using your add-on subscription, you'll need to assign the license to a business email user first. For example, before you can make calls with Google Voice, assign the license to a user then set up your Google Voice number.
Note:
It may take a few hours for a license to be added to your Google Workspace after purchase. Once it's added, you can assign it to a user and set up your add-on subscription.

To assign a license to a business email user:

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.
  2. From the Admin console menu, go to Directory, then Users.
  3. Select the checkbox next to the user you want to assign the license to.
  4. Click Assign licenses, then select the relevant subscription (e.g. Google Voice).
  5. Click Assign.
Note: It can take up to 24 hours for a user's license to be assigned.

Setting up a business phone number

To start making calls after you've purchased a Google Voice license, make sure you have assigned the license to a business email user first. Once the license is assigned, you can set up your Google Voice number.

To set up your business phone number:

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.
  2. Go to Apps, then Google Workspace, then Google Voice.
  3. Click Users
  4. Click Assign number on the user you're assigning a number to.
  5. Click Add the service address.
Note: You can search for an existing location to use as your address, or enter a new address instead.
  6. Click Assign on the available number listed.
Note: Voice will show you an available number. You may see the option to find a different number. To do that, click Change to find an alternative number.
Note:
It can take up to 48 hours for Voice numbers to become active. Learn more about assigning Voice numbers to a user from the Google Help Center.

Setting up Gemini assistant

Gemini is no longer available as a separate add-on. Instead, Gemini AI features have been added to Google Workspace plans. If you purchased a Gemini license from Wix, your Gemini features will continue to work until further notice.
