Sales Tax Request: Validating VAT ID during Checkout

We're excited to announce that you can now use the Exemptify app by daxanema to request a customer's VAT ID during checkout. You can then use that ID to apply tax exemptions for customers who qualify, for example based on validation through the European VAT Information Exchange System (VIES).

Notes:

To add the app, go to Exemptify by daxanema in the App Market and click Add to Site.
The app is not yet available in the Wix Harmony Editor.
Alternatively, you can add a custom field to the Checkout page, which can be used to collect the customer's tax ID. Note that the number will not be validated.
