Site Members Request: Receiving Email Notifications for Automatically Approved New Members

Currently, when a site visitor signs up for a members-only page that does not require manual approval, you receive a notification in your site manager . You do not, however, receive an email notification. 
Note that if you require manual approval for site members, then you do get an email when a visitors ask to join.
