Red Error Message When Assigning or Transferring a Domain (Includes Workaround)

We're aware of an issue where a red error banner appears when assigning, unassigning, or transferring a domain. This happens when the domain is associated to a payment method that is in another Wix account. We are working on changing the error message to make the issue clearer.
You can view which services are assigned to each card in the Payment Methods page. If the domain is not listed, then it is not assigned to any of your payment methods, even if it has the same last 4 credit card digits.
In the meantime, you can use the following workaround:
- Go to Premium Subscriptions.
- Click the More Actions icon next to the domain name.
- Click Update payment method.
- Select which services you want to update.
- Select one of your payment methods, or add a new one.
The issue should no longer occur once the payment method for the domain is updated.
