New Pro Gallery Added Broken to Site (Includes Workaround)

Known Issue|We’re investigating this issue.
We are aware of an issue where a new Pro Gallery is added broken/empty to a site, and it is not possible to manage its settings and media afterward.

If adding a new Pro Gallery from the Add panel does not resolve the issue, and the new gallery still fails to display media, you need to re-install Pro Gallery app on the affected site.
Note: Deleting Wix Pro Gallery app removes all galleries and their data from your site pages.
In order to re-install Pro Gallery app, please follow steps below:
  1. Open App Market and go to Manage Apps
  2. Click the More Actions icon  next to Wix Pro Gallery and click Delete
  3. Select any reason for deleting the app in the pop-up window and press Delete button
  4. When app is removed, click Add Elements on the left side of the editor.
  5. Click Pro Galleries under Media
  6. Confirm the new gallery is working by opening its media and settings panel.
