Hiding an Element in the Mobile Editor

1 min

The mobile Editor automatically creates a mobile-friendly version of your site.

In your mobile-friendly site, you might wish to hide certain elements which are not suitable for the mobile version of your site.

To hide an element:

  1. Click the element in the mobile Editor.
  2. Click the Hide Element icon .
Notes:
  • You cannot delete elements in the mobile Editor, only hide them. If you want to delete an element, you must delete it from the Desktop Editor.
  • You can also hide an element by pressing Delete on your keyboard.
  • Click here to learn how to unhide an element.
  • If you can't find an element on your mobile site and have checked in the Hidden Elements panel, try using Ctrl+M to cycle through the elements on the page. Ctrl+Shift+M allows you to select the previous element. If you are using a Mac, press the Cmd key instead of Ctrl.
