Email Marketing: Manage Multiple Senders

Adding multiple sender details allows your emails to come from addresses associated with specific parts of your business. For example, you can choose to send one automated email from bookings@website.com and another from sales@website.com.

Default senders are the senders automatically selected when sending email marketing campaigns and triggered emails. 

Note: Default senders are also used as backup senders if you choose to delete a non-default sender in an automated email.

In order to make a sender the default, check the Make this sender the default checkbox when editing your sender.

A sender cannot be deleted when they are the default. You must make another sender the default before you can delete a sender. 

To add a new sender:

It's recommended to first authenticate a custom domain if you have an email address associated with it (e.g. contact@customdomain.com). If your domain isn't authenticated, Wix automatically adds an authenticated Wix domain (e.g. ascendbywix.com). This helps with email deliverability. Learn more about authenticating your custom domain. 

If you downgrade your Email Marketing plan, you will only be able to send from your default sender. Multiple senders is only available in specific plans. Learn more about email marketing plans.
