Depending on your domain provider, the authentication process might be slightly different from what is widely described. Certain providers may only require you to copy the first part of the CNAME record in the HOST column (i.e. without your domain name) to authenticate your domain.
For example, if you are trying to authenticate the domain mystunningwebsite.com, you would only copy what comes before your domain. Your host names should be copied to look like this:
  • Add only s1._domainkey instead of s1._domainkey.mystunningwebsite.com
  • Add only s2._domainkey instead of s2._domainkey.mystunningwebsite.com
  • Add only sg instead of sg.mystunningwebsite.com
  • Add only sel1._domainkey instead of sel1._domainkey.mystunningwebsite.com
  • Add only _dmarc instead of _dmarc.mystunningwebsite.com

Tip:
After adding records according to the instructions above, it will take up to 24 hours for the authentication process to be complete. If the domain is still not authenticated after that time, contact Wix Customer Care with screenshots of the records you added in the domain settings
