Displaying Private Events in Your Google Event Calendar App

1 min
When you create an event in your Google calendar you can set it to be private. By doing this you are overriding the privacy setting of the calendar. Once an event is set to private in your Google Calendar, you can decide if you want to display them on your site calendar.
Note:
If you decide to show them, the text that appears by default is "Private".

To display private events:

  1. Click the Google Event app in your editor.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click the Display tab.
  4. Click the Show private events toggle to enable it.
  5. Set the text you want to display.
Tip:
You can hide private events from your site calendar by disabling the toggle in the app's Display settings.
