The basic format for the the default date is: mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss

- A date without the time - 12/12/2019
- A single digit for a month or day - 2/5/2019
- Two digits for the year (current century is the default) - 11/8/20
- A single digit for the hour - 11/8/20 9:37
- AM or PM - 11/8/20 9:37 PM
- 24-hour format - 11/8/20 21:37
- Time zones - 12/31/0018 9:30 UTC
- Dates from the distant past, using four digits for the year - 09/12/0018
- Dates from the far-off future, using four or five digits for the year, up to 12/31/99999
