Datasets are the vital link between the elements on your page and the content in your collection. You can use them to create a two-way connection, allowing you to display collection content, capture user inputs, or both.
With dynamic pages, you connect the elements on the page to a dataset that connects to the relevant fields in your collection. You can also add filters to your dataset to exclude certain items, or add sort conditions that determine the order in which the items appear.
