Wix form collections are a type of Wix app collection in the CMS (Content Management System). They allow you to view submissions sent by visitors from Wix Forms on your site.
Note:
Wix form collections are relevant only to forms created by Wix Forms (both old and new forms). Custom forms you create using input elements do not submit to Wix form collections. Instead, they submit to whichever CMS collections you connect them to.
What are Wix form collections?
Wix Form collections are created automatically when you add a Wix Form to your site and publish it. Each Wix form collection holds the submissions received from its corresponding form.

Accessing Wix form collections
Once you've added Wix Forms to your site and published, you can view the collection each form submits to in your CMS under Wix Form Collections.
To view Wix form collections in your editor, you need to enable Wix App Collections in your CMS advanced settings. Once enabled, you can access your form submissions from the CMS panel in your editor.
To enable Wix app collections and view Wix form collections in your editor:

- Go to your editor.
- Click CMS
on the left of the editor. - Click Your Collections.
- Click Manage.
- Click More Actions at the top.
- Select Advanced Settings.
- Enable the Wix App Collections toggle.
- Click the X at the top right to close the CMS window.
- Click Wix Form Collections on the left to view all your collections created by Wix Forms.
Managing old Wix Forms vs new Wix Forms collections
You can delete an old Wix form collection from your CMS, which will disconnect the form from your live site. Make sure to also remove the form from your live site. If you don’t, users can still submit through the form, but their submissions won’t be saved anywhere. In contrast, Wix form collections created from New Wix Forms are read-only. You can view the submissions, but you cannot edit or delete these collections. Learn more about the difference between the new and old versions of Wix Forms.
To delete an old Wix Forms collection:
- Go to CMS in your site's dashboard.
- Under Wix Form Collections, click the More Actions icon
on the relevant collection. - Select Delete collection.
- Click the Yes, delete collection checkbox and click Delete.
Is the 'Delete collection' greyed out?
If the option to delete a Wix form collection is greyed out, this means the collection was created from the new version of Wix Forms. These collections cannot be deleted.
