App Disappearing from Page with Hidden Footer

Certain apps such as the LiveChat app appear in your site's footer after you add them. If you hide the footer from a specific page on your site, these apps no longer appear on the page. 
For these apps to work properly, you need make sure that the footer is visible on the page that you add the app to.

Make your page's footer visible in Wix Editor

You can make the page's footer visible in the Pages & Menu section of your site's Editor.

To make the footer visible:

  1. Click Pages & Menu  on the left side of the Editor. 
  2. Click the relevant page.
  3. Click the More Actions icon .
  4. Click Settings.
  5. Click the Layouts tab.
  6. Select Standard.

Make your page's footer visible in Editor X

In Editor X, you can make the page's footer visible from the Layers panel.

To make the footer visible:

  1. Click Layers  at the top of Editor X.
  2. Click the More Actions icon  next to Footer. 
  3. Select Display.
