Adding and Setting Up the DeviantArt Feed App

This app is no longer supported in the App Market.
Share your deviations in a stunning, customizable gallery. You can let your site visitors view deviations in full screen view and download your creations.
To add and set up the DeviantArt Feed app:
Step 1 | Add the DeviantArt Feed app to your site
- Click here.
- Click Add to Site.
Tip: You can cut and paste the app to move it to another page on your site.
Step 2 | Open the Settings panel of the app
- Select the app in the Editor.
- Click Settings.
Step 3 | Connect to your DeviantArt account
In the Main tab, click Connect Account and log in to your DeviantArt account or click Create New Account to set up a new account.

- Do you have more than one DeviantArt account? Make sure you log into the account you want to display on your site before connecting the account.
- If a pop-up does not open, try turning off your pop-up blocker or updating your browser version.
Step 4 | Select which deviations to show
- Click the Deviations tab.
- Select one of the following:
- All deviations: All deviations in all folders are displayed
- Select from folders: Deviations in selected folders are displayed
Step 5 | Change the app display
- Click the Display tab.
- Edit the Gallery display settings:
- Drag the Rows slider to select how many row of deviations to display.
- Click the toggles to show or hide the following:
- Your username and avatar
- The DeviantArt logo
- The 'Show More' button
- Edit the Hover display settings:
- Click the Show deviations info toggle to show or hide the deviant name and likes on hover:
- Enabled: Info appears on hover
- Disabled: Info does not appear on hover
- Click the Show deviations info toggle to show or hide the deviant name and likes on hover:
- Edit the Deviation Full Screen display settings:
- Click the Enable Full Screen toggle:
- Enabled: When a visitor clicks a deviation, it displays full screen.
- Disabled: When a visitor clicks a deviation, nothing happens
- Click the Display deviation info toggle:
- Enabled: In full screen mode, Deviant info is displayed at the bottom left.
- Disabled: No deviant info is displayed.
- Click the Display download button toggle:
- Enabled: In full screen mode, a download button is displayed at the bottom right.
- Disabled: No download button is displayed.
- Click the Enable Full Screen toggle:
Step 6 | Customize the app design
- Click the Design tab.
- Edit the Gallery design settings:
- Click the color box to select a background color for the gallery. Drag the slider to change the opacity.
- Click the drop-down menu to customize the username font. Click the color box to select the username color.
- Select a theme for the DeviantArt logo and the "Watch" link.
- Edit the Hover design settings:
- Click the color box to select a color for the overlay on hover. Drag the slider to change the opacity.
- Click the drop-down menu to customize the text font on hover. Click the color box to select the text color.
- Edit the 'Show More' Button design settings:
Tip: These setting appear when the Show More button mode is enabled. Click the Display tab to enable.- Click the drop-down menu to customize the button text font. Click the color box to select the color.
- Click the color box to select a background color for the Show More button. Drag the slider to change the opacity.
- Drag the slider to change the button border width.
- Drag the slider to change the corner radius of the button (the larger the radius, the rounder the button).
- Edit the Deviation Full Screen design settings:
Tip: These setting appear when full screen mode is enabled. Click the Display tab to enable.- Click the color box to select a background color for full screen mode.
- Click the color box to select a color for icons that appear in full screen mode.
- Click the drop-down menu to customize the deviant name font. Click the color box to select a color.
- Click the drop-down menu to customize the file info font. Click the color box to select a color.
Step 7 | Save or publish your site
Make sure to save or publish your site to stay connected to your DeviantArt account and save your customizations.
