Wix Payments Mobile: Reserve Funds

Keeping a percentage of your funds in reserve lets you easily cover refunds or potential chargebacks from customers. If your Wix Payments account is subject to refunds or chargebacks, it's necessary to keep some funds in reserve to cover those possibilities. After a period of time, your account may be reviewed to see if a reserve is still applicable.

There are 2 types of reserve:

Note: On rare occasions, the reserve release date might be extended after your account is reviewed. This means certain reserve amounts will be sent with a later payout. This allows us to continue to cover potential chargebacks and refunds.

In this example, 10% of each payout is held for 90 days. After 90 days, that money is released, which means it is available for payout. 

The In reserve tab shows you how much money is currently held in reserve - in this case, a total of $75:

The $75 will gradually be released on a rolling basis. After each reserve amount is released, it is added to your next scheduled payout. Tap the Released tab to view funds that have already been paid out.
