Google is making changes to its business email service that affects G Suite Basic subscriptions. G Suite is being discontinued and replaced with an updated service called Google Workspace.
Google Workspace is a new collaborative platform similar to G Suite, but with extra or updated features. Besides a business email, you have access to enhanced security, more storage options, and real-time collaboration across such features as video conferencing, presentations, spreadsheets, and more.
Wix will automatically transition G Suite Basic subscriptions to Google Workspace.
Transition for Wix customers
If you are currently on a G Suite Basic subscription, you will be automatically transitioned to a
Google Workspace Starter plan. The features this plan offers are the best match to the G Suite plan you currently have. This subscription will renew at the same rate you currently pay.
We will notify you by email before and after this transition takes place. This migration will not impact your subscription renewal date.
Note:
The Google Workspace Starter plan is referred to as 'Business Starter' in your Google Workspace admin page.
