Content Manager: An Example of a Dynamic Page
With a dynamic page, you can use the same page layout many times, each time displaying different content from your collection.
For example, if you have a recipe site, you can create a collection to store all your recipe content.
- The Title field is automatically added; use this field to store your recipe names.
- Add a Meal field to specify if the recipe is for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
- Add a Course field to note if the recipe is an appetizer, main course, or dessert.
Creating a collection and adding content
First, make sure you have a collection with some content in it. In this example, we are using text and images about food and recipes.
Each line in the collection represents one item. There is information about each item in each of the columns in that line. Learn more about creating a collection with the Content Manager.

Displaying each item on a dynamic item page
To display each item from your collection, create a dynamic item page.
With your dynamic item page created, you can use it to display each of the items in your collection.

On your dynamic item page, there is a drop-down item selector to preview each item. Click the drop-down to switch between items in your collection.

Displaying multiple items on a dynamic list page
You can create a dynamic list page that displays different groups of your recipes based on criteria you choose.
To display your recipes based on the meal, you can add a filter to the dataset that is linked to your repeater. With a filter set up, your dynamic list page displays only the recipes that meet the criteria set in the dataset filter.
