Wix Stores: Creating Promo Cards

Promo cards are currently available in the Category page and grid gallery.

You can use promo cards to highlight sales, promote collections, feature services, or display editorial content such as shopping guides.

We recommend using the same aspect ratio (image ratio) as the images in the relevant element. For example, if you plan to display the promo card in you category page, go to the category page settings in your editor and select the Layout tab. There, in the Product images section, you can see the aspect ratio. 

Note: You can follow the same instructions in a grid gallery.

There are a few reasons your promo card might not appear on the storefront.

Promo card tags help you organize and reuse your promo cards more easily. For example, you can add a 'Valentine’s' tag to any promo cards related to that holiday. Later, you can use the tag to filter all your promo cards and quickly find the ones you need.

Yes. You can assign a promo card to one or more categories so the same content appears in multiple places in your store. Additionally, by enabling the toggle, you can assign a promo card to all subcategories under the category you chose.

You can add tags to promo cards to help organize and filter them in your dashboard. For example, you can tag all your holiday promo cards to group them together and make it easier to find the right one next time the same holiday rolls around.
