Wix Bookings: Requiring Your Customers to Pay a Deposit for Services

If you prefer not to charge your customers the full service fee upfront, you can accept an initial deposit fee at the time of booking, and receive the rest in person.
Notes:
- If you add a deposit fee for a service, customers cannot pay the full fee online.
- Once your clients pay the deposit, you can either charge for the remaining amount in person, charge with an invoice, send them a pay link or charge with credit card on their behalf.
Requiring a deposit to book services:
- Go to Booking Services in your site's dashboard.
- Click + Add a New Service or click an existing service to edit it.
- Select Fixed price or Varied Prices from the Price type or Course Price drop-down, depending on the service type.
- Enter the session price(s).
- Select Online deposit and the rest in person from the Payment Preferences drop-down.
- Enter the deposit amount.
- Complete the rest of the service details and click Save.
