Wix Bookings: Offering Waitlists Using the Wix Owner App

Don't lose potential clients who want to book your most popular classes - just add them to a waiting list.
If a client tries to book a class session on your member app, but it is full, instead of seeing the "Book Now" button, they have the option to join the waitlist.

If a spot frees up, the first person on the waitlist receives a notification from their member app.

You can decide how long the member has to join the class or pass up the offer before the next person on the waitlist gets the opportunity to join the session.
If no one on your waitlist chooses to book the class, the spot becomes open to the general public.
Note:
Members can only join a waitlist through one of the Wix member apps. If they are not members, invite them to join.

Enabling your waitlist
- Go to your site in the Wix Owner app.
- Tap Manage
at the bottom.
- Tap Booking Services.
- Tap the Settings tab.
- Tap Booking Policy.
- Scroll down and enable the Waitlist toggle.
- Enter the maximum number of people who can join the waitlist.
- An open spot will be reserved for: Set how much time a client has to book before the spot is offered to the next client on the waitlist.
Managing your waitlist participants
Add clients to the waitlist for a session or book them in when a slot becomes available using your Wix Owner App.
To manage your waitlist:
- Go to your site in the Wix Owner app.
- Tap Manage
at the bottom.
- Tap Bookings under Business.
Note: Tap Booking Calendar under Business in the latest version of the Wix Owner app. - Select the relevant session.
- Tap Manage Participants.
- Choose what you want to do next:
Add a client to the waitlist
Remove a client from the waitlist
Add a client to a session from the waitlist
