Branded App: About Updates to Your App

After your app goes live in the App Store and Google Play, people can download it and interact with your business. It's important that your app goes through regular maintenance to make sure its content and user experience stays up to date.
What do app updates include?
Automatic app updates are included in your Branded App plan. Regularly, Wix submits an app update to Apple's App Store and Google Play on your behalf. These updates include:
- New feature updates
- Bug fixes
- Performance updates
Each update also goes through a secondary review with Apple and Google. From the Branded App Overview tab of your branded app dashboard you can view a list of necessary fixes made (if any) in order to pass Apple and Google's review.
While the new version of your app is being updated or is in review, the current version remains available in the App Store and Google Play. If the new version is rejected by Apple and/or Google and needs to be fixed, the current version is still available for download in the relevant stores and is not affected.
