Build online programs to inspire your members to achieve a particular goal. Create a scheduled program with a fixed start and end date, or set up a self-paced program for participants to complete at their own pace. Make your program public for anyone to join, private pending your approval, or create a secret program accessible only via invite link.
Step 1 | Add Online Programs to your site
When you add Online Programs to your ADI site it installs two separate pages: the main Programs list page as well as an individual Program Page for each one of your programs.
- Click Add on the top bar inside ADI.
- Click Apps.
- Hover over Online Programs and click Add.
Step 2 | Create Your First Online Program
Head over to Online Programs in your site's dashboard to create your first program. We recommend creating an online program before customizing the page in the ADI Builder, so you can better visualize how the settings work with content.
- Go to Online Programs in your site's dashboard.
- Click + Create New at the top right.
- Pick a program template with pre-filled content or click Start Fresh to create a program from scratch.
- Fill in your online program's basic information as well as its pacing, timing and duration. Learn more about how to create a program.
- Click Continue.
- Add content to your program such as sections and steps. Learn More
- When you're finished adding content, click Publish to publish your program and make it possible for participants to join.
Step 3 | Set Up Your Program List Page
The Program List page is where both site visitors and current participants can see a list of all your active programs. You can change what program details to display in the Program list settings.
- Click the Pages drop-down in the top bar inside ADI.
- Click Programs.
- Hover over the Program list in the ADI builder and click the Show more icon.
- Click Settings.
- Choose what details to display in your Program list by clicking the Show/hide icon next to the element:
Note: The changes affect all programs in your Program list.
- Image: The thumbnail above the program name.
- Duration: How long the program runs for.
- Participants: How many people are enrolled in the program.
- Price: The price of the program.
- Edit the button text that encourages site visitors to join your program.
Note: To create a new program or update a program's content, click Manage Programs at the bottom.
Step 4 | Set Up Your Program Page
Every program gets its own page with information, steps, and a button to join. Depending on if a site visitor or an active program participant is looking at the page, you can change the settings to display the most relevant information for the viewer.
- Click the Pages drop-down in the top bar inside ADI.
- Click Program Page under Programs.
- Hover over the Programs Page element in the ADI builder and click the Show more icon.
- Click Settings.
- Choose what details to display in the Visitor view of your Program Page by clicking the Show/hide icon next to each element. The Visitor view is how the Program Page looks to people who are not enrolled in the program.
Note: Select or deselect a checkmark to see how the page looks in both views.
- Date: The program's start date.
- Image: The Program Page's central image.
- Duration: How long the program is running for.
- Steps: The number of steps in the program.
- Participants: The number of participants in the program.
- Choose what details to display in the Participant view of your program page by clicking the Show/hide icon next to each element. The Participant view is how the program page looks to people who are currently enrolled in the program.
