Wix Studio FAQs: Using the Wix Studio as a Partner

No, for now the Partner Program in Wix Studio is not changing. Your benefits will remain the same and will transfer over to your new workspace. Learn more about the Wix Partner Program.

No, Wix Partners can build on any Editor, but we recommend you give Wix Studio a try since it’s a platform built exclusively for agencies and freelancers. You'll discover an advanced Editor with responsive AI and powerful new capabilities that allows you to design efficiently, work collaboratively and build at scale.

If you switch to Wix Studio, your points and benefits in the Partner Program are automatically transferred to your new workspace. If you don't switch, your points and benefits stay in the original Partner Dashboard.

You will continue to earn points and access the same account-level benefits you are used to, including revenue share. 

Yes, Product Betas will be available in your new Wix Studio workspace in our News Center. When a new Beta drops, we'll highlight it as a badge notification under the megaphone icon, located at the top right of the workspace header.

If you don't switch to Wix Studio, you can access still access betas in the Product Betas tab of your Partner Dashboard.

There are no changes to the Marketplace and it will still continue to operate as normal.

CRM Tools and Client Billing, including Proposals, are now located in the Wix Studio workspace, in the Marketplace tab, since they’re designed to support your workflow there. While Wix Marketplace is open to Icon and Legend level Partners only, the CRM and Billing tools will continue to be accessible to all Partners who used them before switching.

Only Partners who have access to the Marketplace, as well as existing Partners who currently use Proposals, will have access to this tool in the new workspace. You'll find it under the Marketplace tab. Learn more about joining the Wix Partner Program.

Yes. You'll continue to earn points as per the Partner Program terms and conditions. You can also be a part of the Wix Marketplace if you've reached Icon level or higher.

Legend Partners can still earn 20% revenue share on purchases of Premium plans and renewals on Wix Studio, Editor X and Wix sites. Plus, Partners of all levels can earn 50% revenue share on purchases of Email Marketing, Branded App and Business Elite plans, until the end of 2023, as long as they are the original site creators.

You can earn 300 points for sites you create with Wix Studio and 100 points for sites you maintain collaborator status on in Wix Studio. See the points calculations below:

Yes, when switching to Wix Studio your Partner Program points will transfer automatically. You will have the same number of points in the Wix Studio workspace as you did in the previous Partner Dashboard.

Your existing certifications are still valid in the Wix Marketplace.

Eventually, yes. At the moment, we’re working on the Wix Studio certification process. We’ll let you know as soon as it’s ready to go live. In the meantime, join our live educational events to get a head start on the certification process.

Not yet, but we hope to enable this on Wix Studio soon.

Yes, you’ll be able to share and reuse the apps you create on Wix Blocks, plus you can earn extra revenue by selling them in the Wix App Market. Learn more about publishing your Wix Blocks apps.
