There are no forms to fill out or tests to take to qualify — just your work speaking for itself. Each month, we review premium sites and Blocks apps built in Wix Studio and certify top creators. Certified creators get badges, points, and exclusive perks through the Studio League.

Studio certifications

To qualify, your work must meet our standards for quality, creativity, and technical skill. Each month, we review portfolios and announce the newest certified creators.

Web Designer certification

Recognizes creators who design polished, responsive, and accessible premium sites using the Studio Editor.
  • Premium sites: Built 3 or more premium sites, including at least one from a blank canvas.
  • Responsive design: Used CSS grid or advanced units, and manually adjusted for mobile and tablet.
  • Creative elements: Included animations, blend modes, or sticky elements across 3 sites.
  • SEO, accessibility, and performance: Followed best practices like proper heading structure, alt text, and color contrast (3:1+). Use JPGs instead of PNGs (unless transparency was needed), MP4s instead of GIFs, and SVGs for scalable icons and logos. Limit custom fonts to 4 or fewer.
  • UX/UI: Demonstrated a consistent design system and intuitive navigation.

Developer certification

Recognizes developers who build secure, high-performing Studio sites or Blocks apps with advanced backend logic.
  • Premium projects: Built 3 premium sites (with traffic) or a Blocks app installed on 3 or more premium sites.
  • Advanced backend code: Used third-party APIs, secret manager, backend events, or routers.
  • Studio platform features: Used schedulers, data hooks, or custom APIs.
  • App complexity (if applicable): 200+ lines of code, multiple API calls, and custom page types.
  • Development activity: Logged 14 or more coding days in Studio.
  • Secure development: Did not expose secret keys or sensitive data.
  • Performance tracking: Used monitoring tools for debugging and optimization.
