Currently, customers viewing items in the Category page or gallery can purchase items by going through the full checkout flow (via the Cart page, side cart, etc.) or the "Buy Now" flow (direct to the Checkout page).

A more streamlined, 'quick buy' flow that allows customers to select product options in the Category page or gallery and move to checkout is not supported.
