Wix Restaurants FAQ: Can customers add delivery instructions to their orders?

We're in the process of releasing a new online ordering app and it's not yet available to all users. Learn how to add and set up the new Wix Restaurants Orders (New) app.
Yes, when a customer places a restaurant order through your site, they can add delivery instructions such as: 
  • Delivery address: Customers can search for their street address and enter the apartment, floor and entrance number.
  • Delivery instructions: Customers can click + Delivery instructions to add special instructions in free text.
  • On arrival instructions: Customers can select how they want to be notified when the order arrives:
    • Buzz Door
    • Call Me
    • Leave outside my door (contact-less delivery)
      Note: You choose this option in the final stage of checkout. Contact-less delivery is available for card payments only.
The delivery instructions are displayed in the final order details. This is where you can select contact-less delivery (leave outside my door).
