Switching to PayPal with Wix Payments allows you to manage your payments from a single place and receive all your payouts directly to your bank account. You can, of course, switch back to PayPal third-party, if you wish.
When switching to another PayPal option - whether through Wix Payments or PayPal as a third-party provider - you are, in effect, switching to a separate PayPal account. Therefore, historical transactions are not transferred from one to the other.
After switching, you may have payments considered as still active within your previous PayPal account option. Active payments include:
- Recurring payments
- Open and potential chargebacks
- Open and potential refund requests
