Wix Partner Benefits: Storage on Free Sites

If you upgrade to a Premium plan that includes more than 10GB of storage, you move to the storage quota offered by your new plan. The 10GB you already had on your free site is included in your new quota.

For example, if you're using 6GB of storage on your free site and then you upgrade to a Core plan (that includes 50GB of storage), you'll have 44GB of storage left to use.

If you upgrade to a Premium plan that includes less than 10GB of storage, you move to the storage quota offered by your new plan. No media will be deleted at the time of upgrade if you're exceeding your new quota - you'll still have access to existing media, but will not be able to add any more until you're no longer exceeding your new quota.

For example, if you're using 6GB of storage on your free site and then you upgrade to a Light plan (that includes 2GB of storage), in order to add more files you will need to delete files until your storage is under 2GB, or upgrade to a plan with more storage. This is because the 6GB you are using is exceeding the 2GB that comes with the plan. We will not delete any files exceeding the limit, but you will not be able to add more until you take action.

Yes, this is an exclusive benefit for all Partners and it applies to all websites they own. For new Partners joining the Partners Program, the benefit will take effect 24 hours after joining the program.

Yes. This applies only to sites you're the owner of. If you're co-owner or hold any other role, this 10GB of storage space does not apply.
