Creating a New Site from Your Mobile Device

Create a custom site on the fly, straight from your mobile device. To create your site from mobile, you can either use the Wix Owner app or go to Wix.com on your browser.

Creating a new site from the Wix Owner app

Create a new site on-the-go using the Wix Owner app. Give your customers the convenience of connecting with your business directly from their mobile devices through one of the Wix member apps.

Whether they're browsing products, reading your latest blog posts, scheduling services, or staying in the loop with updates, your members can effortlessly engage with your offerings.

Before you begin:

Download the Wix Owner app to your mobile phone.

To create a new site from the Wix Owner app:

Go to the Wix Owner app on your mobile device.
Choose an option:
- If this is your first site with Wix: Tap Create Now.
- If you already have a Wix site:
  1. Tap the drop-down at the top of your screen.
  2. Tap + Create New at the bottom.
  3. Type a category or select a category from the list:
    - Blog: Start a blog and share content with members.
    - Community: Connect people with shared interests.
    - Online Store: Showcase and manage your products.
    - Beauty: Reach out to people with the latest beauty products and services that fits their needs.
    - Education: Launch a program to showcase your knowledge and expertise.
    - Fitness: Inspire people to get healthy and stay in shape.
Enter your site's name.
Tap Next.
Select the apps you want to add.
Note: After you add an app from the Wix Owners app, you need to go to the Editor and add the pending app to your site.
Tap Done

You can edit your site directly from the Wix Owner app, or from your Wix account on desktop.

Creating a new site from your mobile device's browser

You can also create a new site from your mobile device's browser if you prefer not to download the Wix Owner app.

After choosing from several options that help pinpoint what your site is about, Wix builds the site for you in Wix ADI. You can then customize the site to your liking and publish it to go live.

To create a new site from your mobile browser:

Log in to Wix.com from a supported browser on your mobile device.
Choose the relevant option:
- If this is your first site with Wix: Tap Get Started.
- If you already have a Wix site: Tap + Create New Site, then tap Get Started.
Search for a category that describes what your website is for, then:
- Tap the Arrow icon .
- Tap Skip.
Select the checkboxes next to the relevant features you want to add, then:
- Tap the Arrow icon
- Tap Skip.
Enter a name for your site, then:
- Tap the Arrow icon .
- Tap Skip.
Add your info:
- Tap the Add More icon to add a logo image for your business.
- Add the relevant business information and social accounts.
Tap the Arrow icon .
Pick a theme you like and tap Continue.
(If you added a logo) Tap Use These Colors to use the colors from your logo or tap Skip.
Tap Build Site.
