Wix Music: Supported Files

When uploading your music in Wix Music, it needs to be a supported file type. Once you have uploaded your music files, we convert them into different formats, one format for streaming and the rest for downloading.
File types for uploading your music
Your music tracks must be in the following format:
- File type: WAV, FLAC, M4A (Apple Lossless) & MP3
- Size: Up to 360 MB
- Sample rate: Any rate, such as 44,100, 48,000, 96,000, 88,200 or 192,000
- Sample Size: 16, 24 or 32 BIT.
- Number of Channels: Mono and stereo
Downloadable files for your fans
Once your files have been converted, your fans can download your music in FLAC or MP3 files.
- MP3: To allow your fans to download your music in MP3 format, upload WAV, FLAC, M4A or MP3 files.
- FLAC: To allow your fans to download your music in FLAC format, upload WAV, FLAC or M4A files.
- If your album contains several music types, your fans can download it as an MP3.
Important:
When your fans download an album they will get it as a .zip file and they will need a zip extractor program to open it.
