Troubleshooting Push Notification Issues
If you are having issues with push notifications in Spaces by Wix, first make sure that:
- You are using a supported device. Spaces by Wix is supported on:
- iPhone: iOS 11 and up
- Android: Lollipop 5.0 and up
- You have the most up to date version of the app:
- Go to the Apple App Store (on iPhone) or Google Play (on Android):
- Search for 'Spaces by Wix app'.
- Click Update (if available).
Note: If no update is available, it means you already have the most up to date version.
- You have enabled push notifications for Spaces by Wix on your device. Go to your phone's notifications settings (differs from one device to another) to find this information.
Next, try the following troubleshooting steps:
- Log out of the app and then log back in:
- Open the Spaces by Wix app.
- Tap the Profile icon .
- Tap the Settings icon .
- Tap Log Out.
- Log back in.
- Close the app completely and reopen it.
- Restart your mobile device.
- Uninstall and reinstall the app.
Additionally, for Android devices:
- Long press the app icon on your device's home screen.
- Tap App Info.
- Tap Storage.
- Tap Clear Data.
- Open Spaces by Wix and log in again.
Note:
If you had both the Spaces by Wix app and the Wix app and stopped receiving push notifications after uninstalling the Wix app, re-download the Wix app and try again.

- A screenshot of the issue
- The manufacturer, model and operating system of your mobile device (e.g. Apple iPhone 6s, Samsung Galaxy S4)
- The type of connection you're using (e.g., 3G, WiFi) and the name of your mobile network (if you are using a 3G or 4G connection)
- Your location
- The name of the app you are experiencing issues with.
- The version of your Spaces by Wix app. To find this:
- Open the Spaces by Wix app.
- Tap the Profile icon .
- Tap the Settings icon .
- Tap About the Spaces App.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the screen.
- Copy the number next to Version.
