Value Added Tax (VAT) registration numbers are issued to businesses in Europe for the purposes of collecting VAT. To verify your Wix Payments account, you may need to upload proof of your VAT registration number.
Requirements for uploading documents
When uploading a proof of your VAT number, please be aware of the following:
- The document must be issued by a public authority, government agency or judicial authority.
- The VAT registration number and legal entity business name should be visible and clear.
Note: Be sure to add your full correct legal entity business name, as your trading name may differ. - The document should not be blurry.
- The document must have been issued within the last 12 months.
- Documents must be sent in one of the following: HEIC, JPEG, JPG, PDF, PNG.
- The maximum file size is 10 MB.
- The minimum file size is 1 KB for PDF, 100 KB for other formats.
