Email Marketing: Sending Campaigns from Free Public Domains

1 min read
Mail services might not accept email marketing campaigns sent from free public domains, such as Gmail, Yahoo, and AOL.

Effect on email campaigns

Email campaigns are sent through Wix Email Marketing. If you choose to use a public domain as your sender email address, Wix automatically changes the sender address to an authenticated wixshoutout.com email address. This is in order to ensure that your email will arrive to the inbox of your recipients, rather than their junk folder, or to be rejected entirely.
Replies to your email campaigns are still sent to the Reply-to email address that you use.

What can you do?

If you do not want your email campaigns to be sent from wixshoutout.com authenticated domain, it is best to use an email address on a domain that you own or any other private domain (eg. @your-business.com).
You can purchase business email for your own domain directly from Wix.
