Logging in to Your Wix Account

Single Sign-On (SSO) is an authentication method that lets users in an organization log in to different websites using the same set of login details.

Logging in with SSO is only available to certain users. If you think that you should be able to sign in using SSO, contact your organization's IT administrator.

If you can't log in to your Wix account because you've forgotten your password, you can get a reset link sent to your email address. From there, you can create a new password to sign in to your Wix account.

The Google sign in option opens a new window where you can sign in to your Google account. Make sure that your browser isn't blocking cookies or popups which may prevent this window from opening (for example, if you're using an adblocker or popup blocker). 

If you're already signed into your Google account, make sure it's the same account you used to sign up to Wix. You can sign out of your Google account at google.com before signing in to your Wix account again. 

If you have third-party cookies disabled in your browser, you may have difficulties trying to log in with your Google account. Follow the steps below for your browser to enable third-party cookies.

Note: If you don't want to enable third-party cookies, you can log in with your email address and password instead.

If you can't find the site you're looking for on the Sites page, check that you are logged into the correct account. Use the Account Email Locator to check which email address that you used when creating your site.

You'll find the email address associated with your account under Your Wix account email is. If you know your password, click Log In, if not, click Reset Password.

If you have enabled 2-step verification by email, you can click Send code by email to receive a code to your email address instead. Learn more about verifying your account by email.

If you don't receive an SMS, you can click Call me to get a phone call from Wix and listen to the verification code instead.

Wix uses Google's reCAPTCHA tool to help protect against potential spam and other types of automated abuse.

reCAPTCHA asks users to enter numbers or words seen in distorted images. reCAPTCHA is simply a test to tell humans and robots apart.

You must type exactly what you see in the reCAPTCHA image, whether it's a number, a word, or several words. When you are done, press the enter key on your keyboard. 

Tip: You can click the audio button to listen to an audio reCAPTCHA option. The set of numbers is read out and you must enter the numbers you hear in the provided space. When you are done, press the enter key on your keyboard. 

Try opening Wix.com in an incognito window or private browsing mode. Learn how to use  private browsing mode for your web browser. 

You can also try clearing your browser's cache if you're experiencing issues with the login page. 

If you don't have access to your login email, or you need help recovering access to your account, we recommend contacting the site owner. They'll be able to send you a new invite to access the site. 

If a bookmark link to the Wix login page that you previously used no longer works, the link may have expired. Follow the steps below to fix this issue.

Yes, you can change the email address associated with your Wix account from your Account Settings. Make sure to use the new email address when logging in.

You can enable or disable two-step verification from your Account Settings. This adds an extra layer of security to your account.

To log out, click on your profile picture at the top right corner of your site's dashboard and select "Log Out."
