Wix Stores: Selling on Google Shopping Using the AdScale App

Generate additional income by selling your products on Google Shopping. 
Selling on Google Shopping is available through the AdScale app. AdScale simplifies the process by creating a merchant account for you.
Notes:
  • This is a Premium app which requires an upgrade to use. In addition, Google charges customers for displaying products on Google Shopping pages.
  • You can also use the AdScale app to create Google Ads.

To set up the AdScale - Google Ads app to sell on Google Shopping:

  1. Click App Market iconon the left side of the Editor.
  2. Type "AdScale" in the search bar and select AdScale - Google Ads from the results.
  3. Click Add to Site.
  4. Click Allow and Add.
  5. Select an option:
    • Click Register with Google and click Next.
    • Sign up manually:
      1. Enter your email and full name.
      2. Create a password.
      3. Click Next.
  6. Make sure the Enable Google Shopping ads on AdScale and Enable Google's keyword insights for your store checkboxes are selected and click Next.
  7. Select an option:
    • Select the category that best describes your products  and click Next.  
    • Click I want to choose another category, select a category from the drop-down and click Next.
  8. Enter your credit card details and click Next.
    Note: Google will charge this credit card for advertising campaigns.
  9. Click Next again.
  10. Set your target locations: This determines which Google users are exposed to your products on Google Shopping. 
    1. Start typing a region name (city, state, county, country etc.) and select it from the list.
    2. (Optional) Add additional regions.
    3. (Optional) Select Exclude from the drop-down and exclude regions inside selected regions (e.g. If you selected New York state, you can use this to exclude some counties).
    4. Click Next.
    5. Indicate whether you offer free shipping in your selected locations and click Apply
  11. Set your target age range and gender and click Next.
  12. Leave the Product Ads option selected and click Next.
    Tip: You can also select the Homepage Ads option to create Google Ads.

     
  13. Select the products that you want to display on Google Shopping:
    Tip: By default, all of your products are selected.
    1. (Optional) Deselect an entire category to exclude it.

    2. (Optional) Click the arrow next to a category a to expand it and deselect individual products.
  14. Select a product description option:
    • Select any of the ready-made text options and click Next.  

    • Enter your own text and click Next
  15. Select the days of the week and the hours your product appears:
    1. Select All days, Monday - Friday, or Custom.
    2. If you selected Custom, click to choose individual day and time slots.
    3. Click Next
  16. Set a budget for your first campaign:
    1. Set the time your first campaign will run from the drop-down.
      Tip: Select Periodic to set a custom time period.

    2. Enter the budget.
    3. Select your goal from the drop-down.
      Tip: After a number of budget periods have passed, you receive feedback on how to optimize your settings to reach this goal.
    4. (Optional) Set a minimum ROAS (return on ad spending):
      1. Click Advanced.
      2. Enter the minimum ROAS.
    5. Click Next.
  17. Click Finish.
After the initial setup, you can manage your campaigns in the AdScale dashboard. To access it, click the Apps tab in your site's dashboard. 
  • Click Open to access the AdScale dashboard.
  • Click Upgrade App to purchase a plan.
