Moving Your Restaurant Payment System to Wix's General Payment System

Wix's old restaurant payment system is phasing out, which means it's time to move over to Wix's general payment system. Manage all your site payment methods under the Accept Payments tab and choose from options including Wix Payments, PayPal, and more.
Important:
If your restaurant sells alcohol do not choose Wix Payments as your payment provider when switching over to Wix's general payments system. See a list of other provider options here.
Benefits of Switching to Wix's General Payment System
Once you switch to the general payment system, you'll get:
- Access to more payment providers, including regional payment providers
- The ability to view all your transactions directly from the payments dashboard
Setting Up a Payment Method
The process of switching to Wix's general payment system starts with the banner in your restaurant's dashboard.
To set up a payment method:
- Click Set Up Now in the banner. This takes you to the Accept Payments tab.
- Select a payment method and click Connect Me.
Note:
If you already have a payment provider connected in the Accept Payments tab, you do not need to connect a new one. Once you click Connect Me in the banner, your payment system is switched to Wix's general payments system.
