Finding Your Wix Account Name
Your Wix account name is part of your free site URL (accountname.wixsite.com/siteaddress).
To view your Wix account name:
- Click here to sign in to your Wix account.
- Click your profile at the top right and select Account Settings.
- View your Wix account name next to Account Name.
Tip:
Click the Account Name field to change your account name.
Notes:
- Wix account names can be between 6-20 characters and can only contain letters and numbers.
- Each account name must be unique. If the account name was used in the past by any Wix user, it cannot be used again, even if the account associated with it has been deleted.
- Keep in mind that changing your account name changes the structure of your free Wix URL (e.g. accountname.wixsite.com/siteaddress). If you've connected a domain to your site, there is no change to your URL.
- Your Wix account name is also your Wix Customer Care profile name. Click here to learn more about your Wix Customer Care profile name.
