Developer Request: Supporting Dashboard Page Extension Deprecation

Currently, it is not possible to deprecate a dashboard page extension without affecting existing app users. This limits Wix users who intend to replace an extension built with one framework with a version built using another. For example, replacing a dashboard page extension built using Wix Blocks with a dashboard page extension built using the Wix CLI.

Adding support for safely deprecating a dashboard page would enable smooth migrations.

Sites with an old app version would remain unchanged and sites installed with the newest app version would see the updated dashboard page.

In the meantime, Wix users can either display both extensions or require existing users to update the app version.
