Currently it is not possible for developers to restrict editing rights in the Wix CMS for app collections. Introducing a backend feature with this capability would allow developers to prevent site owners from adding or removing items directly from the app collections, ensuring that the data structure remains controlled by the app. This also prevents site owners from bypassing upgrade restrictions.
