Currently, it is not possible to set default values for CMS fields created using the Data Collections extension. This extension allows apps to create CMS data collections with predefined schemas and optional initial data when added to a site. Enabling support for default values would help streamline data creation, ensure consistent field values, and reduce errors when managing an app on a site.
