The Wix POS Go card reader is a versatile device that can be used together with the
Desktop POS solution. With its intuitive touchscreen, the card reader allows you to sell products on the go and accept both card and cash payments.
Collecting payment for Desktop POS sales
The Wix POS Go card reader allows you to complete card sales of Wix Stores products, Wix Bookings services, or Wix Restaurants orders.
To collect payment for POS Checkout sales:
- Go to POS Checkout on your computer.
- Add items to your cart.
- Click Charge.
- Select Card as the payment method.
- Prompt the customer to tap or insert their card on the Wix POS Go card reader.
- Select a receipt option.
Collecting payment for existing orders
If you already received an order, you can use your Wix POS Go to collect payment. Start by choosing where on your site's dashboard you want to access the order.
- Go to your Orders tab in your site's dashboard.
- Create a new order or select an existing one that is unpaid.
- Click Collect Payment.
- Choose the option Charge with card reader.
- Prompt the customer to tap or insert their card on the Wix POS Go card reader.
- Select a receipt option.
From your Booking Calendar tab
- Go to your Booking Calendar in your site's dashboard.
- Select the type of booking you want to charge for:
- Appointments:
- Select an appointment and click Collect Payment.
- Choose the option Charge with card reader.
- Classes and courses:
- Select a class or a course.
- Click Manage to see the participants.
- Click Collect Payment for the participant you want to charge.
- Choose the option Charge with card reader.
- Prompt the customer to tap or insert their card on the Wix POS Go card reader.
- Select a receipt option.
From your Booking List tab
- Go to your Booking List in your site's dashboard.
- Hover over any unpaid booking and click Collect Payment.
- Choose the option Charge with card reader.
- Prompt the customer to tap or insert their card on the Wix POS Go card reader.
- Select a receipt option.
- Go to your Contacts in your site's dashboard.
- Hover over the relevant contact on your contacts list and click View.
- Select a tab to collect payment from:
- Bookings tab:
- Select the Upcoming or Past booking tab.
- Hover over any unpaid booking and click Collect Payment.
- Choose the option Charge with card reader.
- Orders tab:
- Hover over your chosen order and click View.
- Click Collect Payment.
- Choose the option Charge with card reader.
- Prompt the customer to tap or insert their card on the Wix POS Go card reader.
- Select a receipt option.
From your Restaurant Orders (New) tab
- Go to Restaurant Orders (New) in your site's dashboard.
- (If necessary) Create a new order.
- Click the More Actions icon
, then click Open order details.
- Click Collect Payment.
- Choose the option Charge with card reader.
- Prompt the customer to tap or insert their card on the Wix POS Go card reader.
- Select a receipt option.

I'm having trouble pairing my Wix POS Go with my computer
I'm unable to complete a sale
- Go to the More tab on the bottom navigation bar of your device and click Reload Catalog.
- If you still cannot complete your sale, restart your device by pressing and holding the button on the side.
My computer crashed in the middle of a sale and I can't reconnect my card reader
- Go to Point of Sale Settings in your site's dashboard.
- Scroll down to Dashboard POS readers and click the More Actions icon
next to the relevant reader.
- Click Force reconnect reader.
- Click Force reconnect to confirm.
My device is stuck, or unresponsive
Restart your device by pressing and holding the button on the side.
If the problem persists, contact customer care and let us know your Wix POS Go serial number, which is located at the back of your device.

Can I issue refunds with the Wix POS Go?
What types of cards does the Wix POS Go card reader accept?
The Wix POS Go card reader accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover & Diners Club, China UnionPay, Japan Credit Bureau, Cartes Bancaires and Interac cards.
Can I see my previous sales?
To access your previous sales list, click
Sales History in the bottom navigation bar of your device. You can click on each sale to see more details such as date, status, seller, customer info, tip info and more.
How do I know if a card payment was not successful?
If payment was not successful, a notification will be shown on your Wix POS Go screen to let you know. This will also be reflected on your
Sales History tab, where the order status will display as
Unpaid.
Can I give my customers printed receipts?
Can I enable tipping on the Wix POS Go?
Yes, to enable and set up tipping, click
More at the bottom right and select
Settings. Under
Tips you can enable or disable tipping, select preset tipping percentages, and manage custom tipping.
