After connecting to Wix Payments as your payment provider, you can begin receiving payments through your site immediately. However, in order for Wix Payments to send a payout to your bank account, you must complete the setup process within 30 days from receiving your first payment.

Important:

If you do not complete account setup within 30 days, you will not be able to accept any more payments through your site.

Completing your Wix Payments account setup

Go to Accept Payments in your site's dashboard.
Click Complete Setup under Wix Payments.

Select an option under Business Type:
- Individual/Sole Proprietorship: Select this option if you are doing business as an individual.
- Partnership/LLC/Corporation: Select this option if you are doing business as a business entity.
- Regional account types: In some countries, other business types may be selected which align with local business definitions.
Depending on the selected business type, follow the steps:

Individual / Sole Proprietorship

Partnership/LLC/Corporation

Enter Your Business Information:
- Your legal business name
- Your business registration number / business number / Employer Identification Number (EIN)
- Your "Doing Business As" name
- If applicable, your VAT / tax number
- If requested, answer whether your business is 100% owned by a publicly traded parent company?
  - Yes: Select this option and enter the parent company market identifier code and Stock Number
  - No: Select this option and move on
Add your Business Description:
- Enter your statement descriptor
  - Your statement descriptor must be between 5-19 characters
  - Your statement descriptor must be similar to your business name / legal entity name /, or URL
  - Your statement descriptor should not be too generic (e.g. "Store"), or already in use (e.g. "Wix.com")
- Use the dropdown menu to select your industry type
Enter Your Company Address:
- Your business address
- Your business phone number
- Is the principal place of business address the same as the registered business address?
  - Yes: Select this option and move on
  - No: Select this option and enter the alternative address and business phone number
- If requested, answer whether the business phone number is the same as the business number for customer support?
  - Yes: Select this option and move on
  - No: Select this option and enter the alternative business phone number
- If requested, upload an address verification document, such as a utility bill, to confirm your address. The document must have been issued within the last 3 months
Enter Account Representative, Business Owner and/or Director details (as the person setting up the account):
- Your country of residence
- Your full name
- Your date of birth
- Your address and phone number
Select the checkboxes:
- Do you own 25% or more of the business?:
  - Yes: Select this option if you're a shareholder with 25% or more of the company
  - No: Select this option if you own less than 25% (or don't own the business)
- Do you have a significant role in managing the business?:
  - Yes: Select this option if you hold a position with control over company management (e.g. CEO, CFO, Treasurer, Chairperson, etc.)
  - No: Select this option if your position doesn't involve company management.
Click + Add Business owner/director to add the following:
- Anyone who owns 25% or more of the business
- At least one person with significant responsibility over company management. Learn More
Enter Your Bank Details:
- Enter and confirm your business bank account details
Click the checkbox to accept our terms of service, service fees and, if required, consent for identity check
Click Submit

Sole Proprietor/Sole Trader (United Kingdom)

Enter Your Business Information:
- Your legal business name
- Your "Doing Business As" name
- Your VAT / tax number
- If applicable, your Handelsregisternummer
Add your Business Description:
- Enter your statement descriptor. This is how your business appears on customers' statements:
  - Your statement descriptor must be between 5-19 characters
  - Your statement descriptor must be similar to your business name / legal entity name /, or URL
  - Your statement descriptor should not be too generic (e.g. "Store"), or already in use (e.g. "Wix.com")
- Use the dropdown menu to select your industry type
- Enter a short description of your products / services
Enter Your Business Address:
- Your business address
- Your business phone number
Enter Account Representative, Business Owner and/or Director details (as the person setting up the account):
- Your country of residence
- Your full name
- Your date of birth
- Your address and business phone number
- Use the dropdown menu to select your job title
- Select the checkboxes:
  - Do you have a significant role in managing the business?:
    - Yes: Select this option if you hold a position with control over business management (e.g. CEO, CFO, Treasurer, Chairperson, etc.) and enter your title
    - No: Select this option if your position doesn't involve business management
  - Do you own 25% or more of the business?:

    - No: Select this option if you own less than 25% (or don't own the business)
  - Are you registered as a director of the business?
    - Yes: Select this option if you're a registered director of the business
    - No: Select this option if you are not a registered director of the business
Click + Add Business owner/director to add the following:
- Anyone who owns 25% or more of the business

  - Your statement descriptor must be similar to your business name / legal entity name /, or URL
  - Your statement descriptor should not be too generic (e.g. "Store"), or already in use (e.g. "Wix.com")
- Use the dropdown menu to select your industry type
- Enter a short description of your products / services
Enter Your Company Address:
- Your business address
- Your business phone number
- Is the business phone number the same as the business number for customer support?
  - Yes: Select this option and move on

- Do you own 25% or more of the business?:
  - Yes: Select this option if you're a shareholder with 25% or more of the company.
  - No: Select this option if you own less than 25% (or don't own the business).
- Are you registered as a director of the business?
  - Yes: Select this option if you're a registered director of the business.
  - No: Select this option if you don't have a role as a registered director.
Click + Add Business owner/director to add the following:
- Anyone who owns 25% or more of the business
- At least one person with significant responsibility over company management
- Directors on the company board
  Note: You may need to provide a document listing the company’s directors.
Enter your Bank Details:
- Enter and confirm your business bank account details
Click the checkbox to accept our terms of service and service fees, including consent to share some of your details with credit agencies to verify your identity
Click Submit
