Design libraries are a great tool for teamwork, as they allow you to save and re-use assets from any Editor X site in the account. When creating a library, you can choose whether to share it with the team or keep it private.
Before you begin:
Set up a Team Management account to collaborate and share your design libraries with teammates. Learn How

Private vs. Public Libraries

When creating a new library, you can choose whether to make it private or public:
  • Public: Your teammates can all access and re-use the library on any of the Editor X sites in the account. They can also edit the library and delete it.
  • Private: Only you can access and use the assets in your library.

Team Permissions in Design Libraries

Each member of your team has specific permissions set by the account owner.
Every teammate can view public design libraries, re-use the assets and duplicate them if needed. However, only teammates with the relevant permission can make changes to a library like editing, sharing or deleting it.
Private libraries don't require additional permissions; Every teammate can create private libraries, edit and delete them as they wish.

Deleting Libraries

If your design library is private, you can delete it without affecting the rest of the team. However, deleting a public design library removes it for the entire team, including the account owner. For this reason, only teammates with the Manage Library permission can perform this action.
If you've already applied assets from a library that was deleted, those assets aren't removed from your site. For example, if you've applied a color theme from a library that was deleted, your site's color theme stays exactly the same.
