CMS Request: Sorting the Options that Appear in Input Elements Set to Filter Content

Currently, it is not possible to sort the options that display in input elements that are set to filter content (dropdown, selection tags, radio button, multi-checkboxes). The options within these elements are hardcoded to display in A-Z order.
For input elements set to collect content, you have more control over sorting:
- Static list of options: You can add and sort the options manually.
- Dynamic list of options: The dataset pulls the list of options from your collection, and you can apply sorting to the dataset to control their display order.
However, for filter content input elements, there is no flexibility to sort these options beyond the default alphabetical order (A-Z). This feature would let you sort the filter options using your preferred method, such as manual sorting, dynamic ordering from datasets, or other criteria.
