Currently, it is not possible to format large numbers to include commas (e.g. "1,000,000") in 'Number' field types. This would allow you to have comma separators added to large numbers in collection fields that connect to your site's elements.

Workarounds:

You can manually add commas to numbers added to 'Text' field types. Keep in mind that this is not ideal if you need to sort the numbers as 'Text' fields use a different sorting logic.
You can use expressions to format numbers as a temporary solution.
