Wix Multilingual: Changing the Regional Settings of a Language in a Multilingual Site

After you add a language to your site, you can update the regional settings for that language in the Multilingual Dashboard. 
For example, when you add German to your site, you can choose Austria, Belgium, Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg or Switzerland as the locale. The locale you choose determines the date format, time format, number and currency display, and the measurement system (Metric or Imperial) for that language version.

Adjust any language's regional settings directly from the Site Languages tab of the Multilingual Dashboard.

To change the regional settings of a language:

  1. Click the Switch Languages panel at the top of your Editor.
  2. Click Manage Languages.
  3. Click the More Actions icon next to the relevant language.  
  4. Click Set regional format.

  1. Click the Region drop-down and select your chosen locale.
