Adding Keywords as Additional Meta Tags to Your Pages
You can add keywords to your page's code as additional meta tags. However, it's important to keep in mind that Google and other major search engines don't use keywords in meta tags as a ranking factor. As such, these meta tags do not affect the way your site is indexed and ranked in search results.
Search engines use your content to understand each page's value and rank it accordingly. AI assistants also read your page text, not meta tags, to answer visitors' questions. Instead of adding keywords as meta tags, we recommend incorporating keywords/search phrases throughout your site's content organically and logically.
To add keywords to your page:
Click Pages & Menu
on the left side of the editor.Click the More Actions icon
next to the relevant page.Click SEO basics.
Click the Advanced SEO tab.
Click Additional Tags.
Click + Add New Tag.
Add your keywords as meta tag code in the HTML Code field.
Click Apply.
You can add up to 10 keywords per page.
