Single Video Player: Adding a Video from Vimeo

Add a single Vimeo video to your site using the Single Video Player. This sleek and easy-to-use player allows you to customize the playback options and add a video description.  

To add a video from Vimeo:

  1. Go to your editor.
  2. Click Add Elements  on the left side of the editor.
  3. Click Video and Music.
  4. Click Single Video Player.
  5. Click the Vimeo option and drag it to the relevant location.
  6. Click Change Video.
  7. Paste the video URL in the What's the video's web address? field.
  8. Customize the playback options:
    • Autoplays: Click the toggle to enable or disable it:
      • Enabled: The video autoplays on mute. Visitors can turn the sound on manually.  
      • Disabled: The video does not play automatically.
    • Plays in a loop: Enable the toggle to have your video play in a continuous loop.
  9. Scroll down, and enter a description of the video in the What's this video about? field.

To display several Vimeo videos in a playlist or channel with many more advanced video features and design options, use Wix Video.
Notes:
  • Make sure that your video privacy settings in Vimeo are set to Anyone can see the video and the embed settings are set to Anywhere.
  • Vimeo Plus users: Wix has switched the static domain from static.wix.com to static.parastorage.com. Therefore, if your video is no longer working, go to your Vimeo Plus settings and make sure that static.parastorage.com is defined as the allowed domain.
